Dibasic Lead Phosphite (Diphos) is produced and supplied as a fine white or slightly brown powder. With a lead (Pb) content of 83.5%, it confers excellent long term weather protection on both rigid and flexible PVC compounds. It has a high refractive index which i***rts a higher opacity than other basic lead compounds, smell sweet. Indissoluble in water but dissoluble in acid, changes into ashblack at 200℃ and changes into yellow at 450℃. Will burn when meeting fire.
